French Intelligence and Martinique Gendarmerie Hunt for Moroccan Man linked with AQIM French Intelligence and Martinique Gendarmerie Command hunt for a Moroccan man supposed of being linked with Al-Qa'ida in the Lands of the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM).

French newspaper Le Figaro reported that according to a statement released from Gendarmerie Command of the Caribbean Island (Martinique) "a Moroccan national, who had been under house arrest in the municipality of Morne-Rouge since 15 May 2014, has been flouting this ruling since the morning of Wednesday, 27 July 2016".

According to a French Intelligence file "Moroccan man helped AQIM to disseminate their message online". "He is considered to belong to the AQIM international jihadi movement".

French Intelligence and Martinique Gendarmerie released a description of the Moroccan Man "that is 40 years old, very skinny, 1.69-meter high, has an oval-shaped face, black eyes, and wavy mid-length light brown hair".

Brazilian Police and Intelligence dismantled ISIL linked group

Brazilian Police, with the help of Brazilian Intelligence Agency (ABIN), dismantled an ISIL linked  group arresting another suspect for allegedly preparing to carry out terrorist acts against Rio Olympics 2016, that will start the next month.

According Brazilian website Jornal do Brasil the suspect was blocked by military police on 24 July in Comodoro, 656 km from Cuiaba and detained in the western state of Mato Grosso that borders with Bolivia.

The detainee is accused of being members of an online group who called themselves 'Defenders of Sharia'.

The group  pledged their allegiance to ISIL and celebrated recent mass terror attacks that occurred in Nice, France, and Orlando, United States.

The arrest is a part of the police's Operation Hashtag, which rounded up an initial 10 suspects on 21 July.

Another suspect, named Valdir Pereira da Rocha, handed himself in on 22 July to authorities in Mato Grosso state, at Vila Bela da Santissima Trindade, 562 km from Cuiaba.

He was transferred to the federal prison at Campo Grande, in Mato Grosso do Sul, with the rest of the group 'Defenders of Sharia'.

Brazilian Police and Brazilian Intelligence Agency (ABIN) are part of the 'Centro Integrado Antiterrorismo (Ciant)', to counter terrorist threats against the Rio Olympics 2016.

The group is working with Intelligence Agencies from United States, France, Belgium, Britain, Argentina and Paraguay.

Brazilian Intelligence is investigating more than 22,000 names of ISIL members

Brazilian Intelligence is investigating more than 22,000 names of ISIL members received from German Federal Police (BKA) last April, that are keeping in touch with persons living in the country.

According to Brazilian website are keeping under surveillance the members of Salafi and Wahhabi communities in Brazil.

Brazilian Intelligence is trying to identify persons involved in the recent announcement by a Telegram channel named Ansar al-Khilafah, which on July 18 declared allegiance to the ISIL in Brazil.

The group published a text in Arabic with the ISIL symbol on the map of the country.

Another source of concern for Brazilian Intelligence is the system are the children of Brazilians living in Europe who have been attracted by ISIL.

ABIN is keeping in contact with foreign services.

Brazilian website the French Directorate General for External Security (DGSE) is allegedly on the eve of the Rio Olympics without a liaison agent in Brazil.
