That article reports on the New Anti-Hacking System that Will Protect Russian Defense Ministry.Russian news agency Interfax has reported that  "a new anti-hacking system will protect Russian Defense Ministry facilities from cyber attacks citing an unnamed representative of Russia's United Instrument-Building Corporation (OPK)".

An OPK source told to Interfax that "elements of this system have already been deployed at over 500 facilities, including the National Defense Control Centre", referring to the top command and control center of the Russian Defense Ministry.

Source added that the threat detection system had been tested over two years, during which time it had been "significantly improved".

According to the source, the complex is capable of detecting cyber attacks in real-time mode and preventing emerging threats. With the help of special sensors the system analyses network traffic, assesses the level of the attack and pinpoints the spot from which it came.
